No thanks as i thought it might of been all in one.
I am thinking if i can do the following.
I have 2 wires from the alarm which should go to the central locking, one for open & one for close.
But as you said it will only open the drivers door, then having to press the switch on the door card.
So i was thinking if i could use the 2 wires to connect to the wires on the switch so when the remote turns off the alarm it will also trigger the switch so i dont need to press it when i get in and all doors will then be unlocked ?

Both switches in the drivers door are wired in parallel so either would do. You can connect it before the door to save running wires out.
I assume the alarm sends a negative pulse to either wire as this is what's needed.
What system have you brought, just out of interest.
Thinking about it, I don't remember ever unlocking mine with the key before now, If your lucky a single switch activation may unlock all doors :er: , it's only the remote that has to be pressed twice to unlock all doors.

I have wired up the alarm to the power lock switch.
The wires for lock/unlock are pink / green and pink / black.
These were found just to the right of the throttle pedal in a white connection box.
Easy to get at once lower trim panel below steering wheel removed.
Now when I press my alarm button all the doors unlock / lock perfect.

Many thanks for the wiring info.

This set up has worked perfectly without any issues.
By wiring up the alarm to the master switch on the drivers door, now when the alarm has been disabled and ALL the doors are unlocked there is not automatic lock if nobody enters the car.

I have just done a remote locking kit on my 2003 GV and used the pink and pink/green wires to connect to and it works great, I have a kit that can be set as single pulse or double pulse and is set to double pulse at the moment but it double pulses when I lock it as we'll so I might just put it back to single pulse and press the button twice to unlock, not sure yet though...

Jay18,
what alarm did you fit? I have just got a GV1600 which is in trouble with worn locks and keys. The ignition lock works OK, its the doors that are the problem so this looks like a cheaper solution than having new keys made.

I have since been given the wiring manual for the face lift model 2003-2005 and it is shown as pink/black on this model (Hardtop only).

The 2003-2005 has different wiring as it runs via a BCM (Body control module).
