Had an old polo, every time it dropped below 50mph oil pressure forced oil out of the rocker cover vent into the air filter, then into the carb. This would then kill the car. So one length of garden hose one 2 litre coke bottle problem sorted. Plus I could then put the oil back once every couple of days

Not got any pics (this happened many years ago), driving my first ever car, a Hillman Imp, the throttle cable snapped, so I had to drive it using the choke cable, then the steering wheel nut sheared off, drove it home using a pair of mole grips clamped to the steering column. About 8 miles, top speed 25mph. Happy days...
