Headlight mounting on an MG410 (prob the same for all of em)

Hi,

When i got my car it didnt have headlights installed but it came with some lights ready to go in. I have put them on the car but they dont fit solidly. The retaining ring is hard against the body, but the actual light unit is loose in between the retaining ring and the body. Also they are miles away from the black headlight surround plastic insert things.

Is there any documentation on this somewhere with exploded diagrams so i see what im doing wrong?

Cheers mate! thats what i was after... but It doesnt explain why i have so much gap between the glass and the surround. Do you guys have any pics of how your original headlights are mounted?

If not ill go to a scrappy and see if i can find some with lights still in there and see how they attach.

Actually, clicking on that link shows some extra pics that help a bit.. I dont have them screws with springs. Will go and see if i can buy some.
