back seat brackets?
Hi,I was just on with fitting the seats in the back of my samurai, the front of the seats screw straight to the floor but the back of the seat looks like it should clip to another bracket on the floor but I don't have this part, can anybody post a picture up of what it should look like, I think I can make one from a bit of plate and some round bar but a picture to work from would be nice. The seats are the split folding style from an 1989 Jap samurai. Thanks steve.

Re: back seat brackets?
Unfortunately those seats are different to the ones that would have come with a late model samurai.
Mine have a bolt on hinge at the front, then just bolts in the back going through the seat mounting bracket straight into the floor.
It had wingnuts holding it on but they have since gone missing as I dont have the rear seats in

Mine was the same as Twiss, bolted to the holes in the floor as in your pic next to seats

Yeah these seats are different to the ones in my other samurai, they just bolt straight to floor next to the seatbelts, these ones have the belt clip built into the seat and the back of the seat is quite far from the holes in the floor

That looks like it's the one to me
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
