what size are sj wheel nuts ? i think its m12x1.25mm pitch but a bit unsure :er:

also a quick tyre question

i know its not legal to have tread sticking out past the arch

but on my sj the side walls just stick out past the arch . . . the sidewalls have tread half way down so where do i stand on this ?

The nuts are M12 x 1.25.
According to the RTA the entire width of the tyre must be covered, not just the tread.

It's normally only if you catch a policeman in a bad mood that they will pull you over for it.
I don't think it's something most of them look for
Around town here though the 5-0 seem to ignore 4x4s and pull the boy racers instead

Twiss you are a lucky sod! It's the opposite here and mine stick out now...need some fat arches, and even fatter with wheel spacers!
If it ticks over...leave it

Yup m12 x 1.25, should look awesome with the new nuts ;)

And wheels need to go BLAAACK!

My 31's I had on the SJ stuck out a little bit, but the treads were covered, never got pulled once, but I did get some dodgey looks from the coppers a few times and did get followed for a bit by some but never pulled...
