Re: my new ride
Must admit my Vitara LWB is bog standard and i have never had any problems height wise on farmers fields etc,i am not a off roader full stop but i do carry all my metal detecting gear onto farms every week.
Never had any trouble, its just a bog standard LWB Vitara,it even just has normal road tyres on it as well.
Most folks will say that boring but i only use it for carrying my gear around.

One of the guys that comes out with me detecting every week had exactly the same fatboy as yourself and i quote never had any problems at all.He used it for about 6 years but then upgraded to a freelander.Sparrowhawker wrote:is mine the same height as yours, is it the bodykit that makes it look low, thanks
My personal opinion is try it as it is,it looks lower than normal but that is more down to the design of them,it just would not look right being raised.Of course if you had been looking at serious off roading like the othewr folks on this forum then i dont think it would have been a good move.

What size tyres are on that? they probably lower it a touch. A number of Fatboys were also fitted with lowering springs.

Re: my new ride
I have just looked they have Radial GT XR6000 P265 50 R15
Re: my new ride
They are almost 2" smaller in diameter than a stock tyre.
