wings

Post by kiwizook » Sat Aug 09, 2014 10:42 am

my RH wing is rusted to buggary, and I found a company that sells replica's. they tell me it has provisions for a flare, but no flare included. my question is, is there any difference between a blank front clip, and one with flares, as mine has no flares, and I'm looking at just replacing one side only
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

The bracket for a flare is a metal lip spot welded just below the pressed dimple in the wing.

If you look in the bodywork section at the Virtual Lift guide you will see them on some of the photos there.

Only differences there might be that it has a hole for the later side repeaters and the panel for the headlight might be different of it's for a samurai... Either way it's not that hard to sort out.

And as dan says the flare mounts are just spot welded on, remove them and the inner and outer wings are identical.
