Re: SJ410 -1985 'Cabrio', engine rebuild
I don't really know I've not converted one myself... scottie will know!
Also, I don't know how much room you have in your winch bumper, but I was looking at getting a Champion 9500 Short Drum, as it is lighter weight than a big winch.
Downside is less line capacity, but its easy enough to keep a synth rope in the back of the zook!
They don't do the Champion 9500SD any more, but there is a Warrior Samurai (haha) S9500 short drum which is pretty similar
It is a shame it doesn't actually say samurai on it!

It's really easy to fit a servo... just need to enlarge the hole in the bulkhead and drill two new holes to mount the servo. And as Twiss says the 410 coil wont properly work with the electronic ignition so you need to swap it.twiss wrote:I don't really know I've not converted one myself... scottie will know!

Got a replacement windscreen fitted now. It literally fell in the hole, hope it doesn't fall out again. aha!
Then had a head-scratching moment. Can't remember how to plumb the carb in. Any ideas what is what? There are 11 hose take-off points on the carb and inlet...
Obvious ones are obvious. But not sure what the score is with the ones for the choke mech (I think that is what it is) on the side of the carb body.

Standard aisin carb right?
Remember there should be 2 water connectors, 1 for vacuum advance, one for fuel in
Can't remember the rest off the top of my head...
