My new SJ410 is bloody unbelievable!

Post by Lash151 » Sat Aug 16, 2014 7:46 pm

]Hi guys, I just joined the forum as I bough an SJ410 from Ebay a couple of days ago... Anyway, I had always wanted one of these and when it appeared for just £575... I just hit the Buy Now button in a moment of madness... Anyway, I have been messing about with her today and the more I explore, the better it gets!!!

Firstly, NO RUST anywhere!! All solid and wax oiled underneath. No transmission whines at all, drives beautifully except for a flat spot which is due to the stupid after market air filter, but that is easily solved.

Excellent respray... matching inside, so must have been stripped and painted properly. Floors solid and rust free!

The engine bay is clean and the engine sounds fantastic... new rubber mounts everywhere...

I thought I would change all the oils... all the oil that came out was nice and clean and the right amounts...
I can't believe this SJ, it must have had a ground up restoration at some point... £575!! The guy who had her bought her for a bit of fun but she sat in his garage... I don't think he realised just how good she was.

Anyway... I think I am keeping this one forever!!

PS she needs a clean and the floor painting!
