To be honest the rest isn't too bad as far as I can see without stripping it completely. Obviously all the bodywork needs attention but then £300 is cheap for a solid chassis and good running gear!
Im still tempted to have a go at getting it fixed up just cos of my mates all saying what a heap ive bought!! Want to prove them wrong!!

to be honest it doesn't look too bad from what I can see without stripping it but then £300 for a good engine gearbox transfer box chassis axles etc isn't too bad I don't think!!

Yeah its normally not the chassis and running gear that have a problem with rust on SJs... not like land rovers haha

Im still desperate for all soft top clips brackets etc if anyone has these or know a man who can supply that would be awesome ☺

Also ive noticed hard tops for just the front. Im considering making it into a mini pickup so these could be a great alternative just dont know where to start looking!! Found one on fleabay but its collection only and 300miles from me.
