If you have a problem you can almost guarantee that someone else on the internet has had that problem before haha

I have just been looking at my Vitara and noticed that it's slightly banking to one side.......... I've changed surfaces, moved it etc and still it appears to dip. I've looked at my shock absorbers on the rear and am not entirely convinced they are working as they should be. As I am looking at changing the rubbers is it worth me just getting a set of shocks and putting them on? Are they easy enough to fit? I was going to look at some on either flea bay. Anyone have any suggestions where else to look? I don't want to spend a fortune on them really... Thanks

They are pretty easy to fit with a bag of spanners and a hammer ;)

Not sure exactly which shocks would be best on a Vitara though...

Thanks Twiss...
Do you think a shock absorber not operating would cause the car to lean to one side. I've looked and they don't seem to move brilliantly and the one side seems to struggle to return to normal..

If they are gas shocks then its possible if one has leaked.

I would have a good look at the spring while you are under there.
To be honest if you want to try replacing the bushes first you will do the hard part of getting the old bolts loose.
If it works then good stuff, if not the nuts will come off much easier when/if you do replace the shocks

Very easy job to change the rear shocks, did mine recently, didn't even need to jack it up.

I bought KYB shocks, think they were £19 each off ebay. They work a treat and are very durable.

£19 each..!! Blimey..... Had I may as well do the springs at the same time as the shocks? Do you know who the seller on eBay was for those Donkeychomp?
