Yeah ive earthed the block to the chassis, ive cleaned all the earths with sandpaper so I know im getting good contact, I think its just a dodgy battery, im going to try another one when I get home from work 2day. Thanks for all your help. Steve

It feels like all my birthdays have come at once 2day, I heard my engine run!!! Had to swap carbs over, the su I was sold with the engine is well knackered, I put my weber on it and she fired straight up, best feeling ever, just need brakes, fuel lines, lights wiring up and an mot now! Thanks again for your help telling me how to wire the coil, I don't know where I'd be without this site, its mint!
