Im back guys and have the answer! we decided it was are transfer box that sounded horrendous.
So we drove on with this noise and are a zuk powered on thru 18 countries and up mountains 15,000 feet above sea level and we told are self we would get a new transfer box at he finish line from a jimny going scrap, there she was a jimny going scrap so we asked the lads who worked there if we could take its transfer box and rear shaft they gave us the thumbs up so went to work and has us the box off in no time and on are jimny we drove on with a slight noise, we did about a thousand miles in to Russia and we had exactly the same noise.....
we deiced to remove the rear drive shaft and drive home all four thousand miles front wheel drive,
took the shaft out drove a little behold the noise was gone we had a f##k UJ joint on are jimny!!
so il hopefully get round to a ful post for you guys about the trip as well!
thanks for your help guys!
