Hopefully either next year or the year after there will be a few of us joining you guys for a week or so
I want to fly over for a visit anyway (Twiss is gonna buy a second Zuki for me to drive
)
But a few of us are thinking about road tripping down

How long does it take to drive there? I'm kind of interested in this idea, always loved the idea of a multiple Suzuki epic road trip.

As long as we don't break down as much as Twiss it would take a few days, would probably plan for 5 days to get there, 5 days n Malta, 5 days back

So we should plan for 2 weeks and maybe a tiny bit?
I think that's easily do-able! Overnighting in tents, hostels, or what? I've heard of people doing stuff like this, and sleeping in tents on public land every night - as long as you're gone early, and don't leave any crap behind, they seem to get away with it un-harassed. I might take the pikey palace though...

I would like to try and take the Hannibal trail route through the Alps as well from val d'isere on the way there, pretty much offroad through the Alps into Italy.

I would have gone an off road way but as my trailer now has no suspension whatsoever it's probably not a good idea lol
I think it would probably take more than 5 days to get there, we have had just under 2.5 days of driving, only got 100 miles yesterday due to clutch replacement and about 4 hours today
You can clear the alps in 2 days doing 50 most of the way, looking at another 2 very long days to clear the rest of Italy and get the ferry to malta
