No that gap between the spring bush eye and "military wrap" second leaf is fine.

Shorten the shackles/re fit standard ones then adjust the steering box play and check everything else.

While you have the shackles off, Id do the bushes as well

Just two more things I do have a wobble when I pull off but spots after ok around town just when I pull off and whats the best front and back seats I can put in the sj.

Up front whatever you can make fit, as for the rear I threw mine away

Cool thanks swapping my bucket seats for some Ford seats now the wife might stop bugging me

If the steering box is more worn in the centre of its travel than the ends you have to me careful not to adjust it too far or it will be tight at lock.

Steering is all good now if I kick the front right wheel it makes a hollow sound I do have a spear axle in my shed it's off a sj but it's not the same as the one on my new sj it has wheel lock in the centre cap will it fit

What did you change/adjust to sort the steering?

All parts on all Sj axles from the knuckle seal outwards are interchangeable, the only bits that are different between models are the shafts, CVs, axle cases and diffs, but depending on the model said me of those can be swapped as well.
