Janspeed made a exhaust manifold for the 8v vitara which fits the Samurai if you want a bit more engine power.

Don't go to aggressive on the type of air filter if you are planning on using it in dusty conditions at all as some of the washable ones don't stop really fine stuff well.

I would try get the engine running to its best and see how you get on with the 413 ratio transfer box if its low mileage and good condition. No point swapping it out for an unknown straight away.

That's great news, I haven't really had a chance to look at in great detail.

I got it week ago and it went straight into the garage to have go over it with a fine-tooth comb, make sure it is all up to scratch.

I want to try and find a balance between 'Looking the pups' and still being able to reach 55Mph!

I have found a picture from the eBay listing the previous owner put up:

Thanks for the tip about Janspeed, I hadn't heard of them.

There is a 'Save on Tyres' garage not so far from me, so I will take it their to get a quote for a custom PowerFlow stainless full system. Heard they were pretty good...

As for the air filter, I was going to get a K&N E-2553

Other than engine change, I think that is going to be my limit of boosting performance!
