Ive litterally just put the diff back in this weekend with a new casing! Doh
I can get a second hand diff for £80 but like you say could be money wasted although if its not diff i would have a spare.
Am i right in thinking the diff ratios should be 5:12 front and back? Do they have part numbera on the casing or is it a case of taking it apart and counting teeth?

Thanks for your help much appreshiated

Remove the front prop and try again. If it continues then take the diff back out and check again.

Morning :) i am still yet to remove front diff as i have had other more important things to get fixed(brakes) but just doing a little more research on diff ratios. Is it possible i could have a 5:12 upfront but a 4:87 rear.. Causing the fronts to skip?
I have recently had a noisey wheel bearing replaced too but can still have a light droning from the rear which mechanic said is coming from the rear diff, if im reading right i can replace with a 5:12 to get better gearing as at the minute 5th is basically redundent?!
Thanks for the help
