If the factory paint is still ok I'd mop it all. If the hinges are tired looking whip them off and repaint them white. Most hard tops seem to be black anyway and I think they look good like that. However they are getting rarer and rarer these days. Good luck with the search!
If it ticks over...leave it

Cheers for the tips, yeah they're just about as rare as a pair of unicorn bollocks, because of this rarity I'm not so clear on what's a reasonable price to pay for one? One breaker was asking for £800 and I told him to sod off because I bought my whole zook with 50k miles for 700

Who the hell was that? I wouldn't pay more than £150 for one myself.
Actually that reminds me, I might know where one is, however I'm not 100% sure if all clips are there for it but those could be made. It's down near me though so quite a drive from Norfolk.

I'd be tempted to paint a few things black.... just to break up the while a little bit.
Maybe the side bars, or the bumpers

It was some guy called norton*bob & I'm quite happy to drive or pay postage provided it doesn't rack up a stupid price, yeah £180 was my rough price cap I had in mind, luckily for me my uncle is the one buying it as a late 18th presentScottieJ wrote:Who the hell was that? That's the plan unless I get on with my complete overhaul sooner than I'm expecting to as when I do that she'll go a cream/off white with black accents a lift, bigger feet, winch bumper & roofracks to matchtwiss wrote:I'd be tempted to paint a few things black.... just to break up the while a little bit.
