The Jimny tops out at 75mph, sits comfortable at 65 though.

Get a vid up
I had to go onto the outside lane and power my way past a **** rover that was sitting on the inside lane of a dual carriageway entrance paralell to someone joining and refusing to change lanes to let them onto the road (hate people like that), luckily it was downhill and the wind was behind me but I did feel sorry for my lil'sammy because it did feel like everything was about to fly off xD

89 mph from a 1.3 which is about as aerodynamic as a fridge freezer is some what pushing it a bit, would not last long if that was kept up for sure, must admit my V6 Vitara can cruise all day long at the legal limit.

Even my old 970cc on 31s would eventually get up to 70mph and with the 1.6 and 33s it'll hit 80mph and it's only got the reduction of a 410tbox in high ratio, it's still on 3.7 diffs.

I'm sure there is something wrong with mine, it has a huge flat spot and is happiest around 50mph! On hills it drops to a crawl, I've ordered some new fuel filters I'll replace them and have a play.

Probably just needs a good tune up, is the carb jetted correctly for the 1.3?

No idea, it's jetted with whatever was in the weber kit! it could be the timing too I took the dizzy off a number of years ago and didn't mark the teeth, I put it back roughly in the right place but it could still be a tooth out,
