i wish i could say yes but the trak is just like a big sj with coils

oh and reliable
it was fun the old sj but it comes a time when even someone like who like's working on 4x4's gets pissed off with working on it and not driving it,thats why in the end it went

Ah but parrot, nothing was actually broken

The gearbox whine was because some twat who owned the vitara it came out of before me put the wrong oil in it; but it was still going strong! and as it was coming out I though i might as well get a rocklobster built and the drain bung moved on the dual transfer case as i didn't like it's position (the one I've got was originally going in a vit)
You can't say you've never broken the fourtrack
Either way the more you modify any truck the more problems you will get as you are putting components through stresses and forces that they were not originally designed for.

im with u on that, i just wanna drive mine.
i have pretty much made the decision im gunna have to sell mine. since moving out i just havnt got the time space or equipment to sort it.
i need a road car due to the need to travel and it cant stay on my parents drive forever.
such a shame as i will never get the money back ive put into it.
my only other option is to try get hold of a sound body and swap it over to my chassis.
cant really afford to pay someone to do the welding for me or i would just get it done.
will let you know when ive decided but its looking like im gunna get someting a bit more practical because i wanna take my mountain bike to north wales more often.
