I found that the water was coming in the vent on top of the bonnet below the windscreen.
Particularly after the snow settled on it and melted. I fit one of those ebay scoops that are supposed to keep the mud out, ran a bead of silicone round the edge and pow, no more water

thats where i thought mine was coming in so i gaffer taped over it but next time it rained wet feet
