Have a nasty feeling that gauge set being from America is going to be 1/8 NPT 27 teeth per inch. Not a very common fitting in the UK.
Did the set not come with any adaptors ??

What about the idea of the pipe where the heater matrix once went?

ive sent them a question asking if they can make one for my sensor.
my standard gague still likes to tell me my engine is boiling over, is there a resistor i can put in (what value) to tune it down correctly for my engine.

Do you have the vitara sensor installed?

If so, make sure you change it for the samurai/sj sensor

That's your problem then... try and get a samurai one... borrow one to test if you can... I think they are only about £5 though

Here is a pic of what someone else has done to fit one of those senders

I'm gonna hazard a guess that the first fitting you measured is 5/8 UNF (hopefully I'm not wrong)

demon tweaks do that size adapter for a water hose.

Ahhhh that's a good one!!! You could take the sender housing/lid to pretty much an fab shop and they could do it for cheap!!!

where can i get the standard water sensor?
if it was going i wouldnt need this other gague working, i could put in something more useful like a voltmeter.
