Is there a benefit in having 2wd low?

Yes the biggest benefit is you can use low range in 2 wheel drive! in reality it makes for great donuts!

It's just a handy thing to have really, mostly useful if you had a non selectable locker in the front (which I dont ) but It's just something i felt like doing because I can really

I would go twin stick Luke but with 2 transfer box levers already I might get a bit confused with another one

On the subject of 2WD low. I use 4 low with my front hubs unlocked to haul our big trailer up the unfinished ramp down to the back drive. Anything I need to know?

It says not to in the handbook, but personally I can't see any reason why not,

With my Sj I think I used 2wd low once to drive over a large curb..... and then I used it again to see how fast I could drive in low, which wasn't very fast at all!

Okay, nothing's likely to break then. I was just a little worried something I can't see or hear might be getting damaged. It's only a 10 yard drive in a straight line to get the truck and trailer up the hill anyway.

Yeah ur not supposed to put power through unlocked hubs...
Maybe it wears the inside off them or something?

I'd imagine it would be OK when done for a few yards, just not miles and miles
