You could also see how the engine is mounted. I modded the engine mounts on mine when I put the engine back in so it now sits about an inch lower than it did before so the carb don't hit the bonnet. But I already had a hole in my bonnet from before covered by a small bonnet scoop.

Yeah when I put the 1600 engine in I re-drilled the drivers side engine mount.
Now the engine and gearbox sit at a slight angle lol...
