my cousin took a look at the brake calliper with the new bleed valve, and when tightening it up managed to snap it

My rears have no bleed nipples.
Ive bled then twice using the hose connection without a problem.
Take the caliper off and.fill it up with.fluid on its side.
Hold your index finger and thumb over the ring on the end of the hose and have someone pump the pedal.
Carefully reattach the hose to the caliper and nip it up and slacken it off like a standard bleed nipple.
Quite messy but does the trick.

That's how I had to do one of my fronts
yup the bleed nipple snapped

its not actually that bad as long as you are prepared for whats going to happen.
Plenty of blue roll, big bucket, brake cleaner/degreaser
get the disc and pads well out of the way!

Thanks to team pink i replaced the old wrecked calliper with a newer one.
But i was bleeding the brakes i released the screw and pressed the pedal down it felt like fluid was going out through the bleeder as normal, but when i tightened it up again the pedal didn't have any feel at all.
To bleed i was using some bleeder pipe connected to the end of a lucozade bottle, i have a gunson air bleed kit but havent used it yet.
