How do you alter the mix where s that screw,
I have also just noticed there should be a pip that goes from the right hand side of the engine over the top in the to cold air feed mine is missing.

Honestly I would check this first, before continuing, if the fuel stop solenoid is restricting fuel flow (they dont completely stop it when there is now power feed) then you wont be able to set the fuel mixture as the carb wont be getting enough fuel!

Trace all the wires and check that you have power witht he ignition on and that the earth hasn't broken.

It no longer cuts out but I had to set the idle to 3000rmp to stop the problem so not a great fix. I had the electrics checked out with one of them hand held devices & the problem isn't there.
