No help whatsoever, but any excuse for a diagram.
That made me laugh. Sounds like it's a good job I'm doing Electronic Engineering for my degree.

Electronic engineering. Sounds technical. Sure theres a joke about changing a light bulb in there somewhere.

None. The Electronic Engineer isn't allowed to take the bulb out because of health and safety. That's the Mechanical Engineer's job but he won't go near anything electrical because it's too complicated.

as far as im aware there is no way to bypass the imobilizer this has been asked many times & never heard of anyone getting past it

you could just get a ignition, ecu & imobilizer unit from a breaker & swap them onto your vit thats the easyest way

no cus they only started putting the imobilizers on in 97 so you would need a set from a vit that has imobilizer on

You have two options really if you want to keep injection.

1.Get a new key and get it coded to the ECU, Suzuki can do this or there are companies out there that do as well.

2. Find a second hand ignition barrel, key and ECU, however you need to make sure the numbers on the ECU match the one in your vitara as there are a few different variations depending on the EGR system fitted etc.
