I was chatting to the old guy that runs my local motor factors today. He was saying that if you get water in the bell housing when the clutch is hot, it can absorb some of the water. Then when left to stand the clutch can stick to the fly wheel and the pressure plate. I dont know how true that is but that was his theory.
I put some new oil in it today, and its all still working fine so i'll just have to wait and see if it plays up again.
Gearbox is dying.
