I did think that plastic was probably not the best material to use.
Perhaps they had run out of cheese or chocolate.

I may well replace them with those superior quality items as time/budget permits.

Are these the same as those on SJ?

I dont know if they are the same as sj ones but certainly very similar.

I was trying to avoid saying "just bin them and fit the aisin ones" but they are far superior.

aisin ones came fitted to some sj's & fit vits too

the other ones are fitted to some vits & are just as good as the aisin ones

For now I would remove and try to clean them or just try and get the original hubs so its locked all the time or aisin

Yeah they are a bit much
I would just get a set of standard hubs until you get some cash, I wouldn't trust them plastic ones

Well, that was interesting. I managed to remove the hub fairly easily.
I eventually worked out how to take it to bits.
Still couldn't budge the locking dial (or whatever it is called).

I did manage to put it back together locked, so I can use my 4x4 as a 4x4.

So, it is time to look out for replacements.
