It's hard to tell the rear diff angle in that pic, the s shaped springs don't help that though

Russ you couldn't get another good pic showing the rear diff flange angle in relation to the tbox flange could you?

That diff angle is awesome. Whats going on with it?

I don't like propshafts going. Snapped a UJ on a tipper i was driving up Millom Bank in cumbria fully freighted.

Took out air bags, air lines and various other chassis mounted bits.

Jordi

will give 'em a call monday.

the diff angle might be due to both nackered springs and deflex shackles.

oooh...... messy.... were you at speed? musta been a sphincter clencher!

OK

the reason WHY the diff is at a stupid angle is because the (very poorly made) SPOA kit has FOLDED. (box section welded on top of axles)

thats annoying.

Looks like a bit of remedial work required Russ.

Can't say it was a sphincter clencher. Soon as the air line went the brakes locked on and that was it till the man with his heavy wrecker turned up. I don't miss working for that firm.

if you can imagin... this in better nick than my other one which will never go back on the road.. way to rotten. :screwy:

however i had the same issues with the srping mounts on that one.. shame the bearings and drive shafts are shot other wise i would just swap axles!!!

sometimes i just wana give up with these damn things!!!

But if you gave up what would you do with all the spare time?

Thats one reason i'm avoiding SPOA. Unless it's done well it kills springs. A suzuki is never too rotten. I'm contemplating putting a new floor pan in.

If it weren't for Suzukis i'd have to work more weekends just to fill the time. And what would i spend all that spare/extra cash on? It would be pointless having it, lol.

Russ, I may have a pair of rear springs that are a tad better than yours if you get stuck. I can take them to piccadilly on 17th.
