Id say its just a case of take your pick. The spanish bits seem to be easier
To get from motors spares shops. My motor factors are great but struggle when it
Comes to matching Japanese sj bits
Clean everything up and fit new shoes and it should be sorted.

Im going to say top drum is spanish lower is jap.
From what I've seen id guess the spanish drum has chunks missing
From the edges . Jap drums seem far more solid to me.

I've never seen a 410 with a handbrake on the rear drums, pretty sure my fathers didn't and his is a late Spanish one. there's a chance someone has fitted brakes off a 413/samurai
I would swap over the brakes from your spare axle, as im 98% sure its off a jap SJ410, it's the same set up internally as both the jap 410s we have.
I've never had an issue getting rear cylinders or shoes for my brakes.

The shoes without the handbrake lever are for a smaller drum

I forgot to measure the inside of the drum to make sure there both the same
Plus on my axle it Tss of unlike my other axle
So that means I have got to get the right cylinder

Just remember though your SJ is 27 years old so what's fitted isn't necessarily what it left the factory with

Just to add a little more confusion to this, that looks exactly the same as what is fitted to my Sammi. The shoes with handbrake lever, cylinder, even the mounting of the T piece for the brake pipes.
