Think rims need to be 16" for a gv so you cant just get some old vit or sj rims. Might be wrong on that tho.
Nothing wrong with a small spacer I've been running 32mm on mine with 31 inch tyres for ages with no worse bearing wear than you would expect for an offroader.

These are what I have on mine with 265/75/16 bronco grizzley claws and 32mm wheels spacers and they run a treat
