Thanks Scott, I may take you up on your offer of the jig actually. I have a profiler tool so was just going to use that to try and mark the perches for cutting but a jig might be better. Maybe I could pop over and pick it up off you this weekend?
From looking at the cost of all the bits I'd need (and considering the fortune I've spent on the SJ recently!) I think I might just swap out the diff for now and keep the other as a spare. Then, if I ever need it I can rebuild that one before having to take the SJ off the road.
