If it was me I would not weld it in flush with the B-hoop as you will have no room to move the seats back, not so much an issue I you are short but if you are 6ft1 like me you'll want a few more inches of legroom.

That's not the one I’ve seen. To be honest I’m not sure if I saw it on here or on another site. Although, by the sound of things, I might end up doing it that way! The back of the cab is currently just screwed onto the B hoop. The seats are right up against it and there is plenty of room for me to drive it quite comfortably.

Thanks

I agree with Scottie when i was looking to get my sj i saw and sat in a few "truck cab" converted sj's and it felt crampt and felt like the seat needed to go back if i was to "truck cab" an sj i would think about king cabing it :)

I'm only 5'10" and i would like to think my cab ended at the hoop.

I don't do much sitting about in the Zuk bit it is nice to be a le to recline the seats a bit when i do just sit in it.

Just found this on eBay. The guy says that the rear door is welded onto the back of the cab. So it looks like it might be possible...

Why don't you just buy a truck cab soft top? Jobs a fish. And the benefit is you can swap back in the future if you want to,

ah ha!! That's the one!! Where was that?

I really dont fancy having a soft top. £250 seems a lot of money to spend on a piece of fabric that can be ruined with anything that's sharp.
It rains a lot in Blaenau Ffestiniog, where i live, the average rainfall for a year is about 4'500mm. The town is well known for 3 things, the Slate Quarries, Sheep wondering the streets and the rain!
