Strange thing is how prices have changed. We only gave £500 for it in '99. With T&T i could probably get £750 for it now.

Easily.

Wait, hang on.....WHY IS EVERYONE SELLING THEIR SJ'S?!!?!
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Yeah, it still has marks and ripples in the panels off being rolled but considering he's not a panel beater he's done a damn good job. Hopefully at some point we'll have that at one of the meets too.

No photos but....

While i was messing on with mine my Dad has been busy. The SJ has been pulled out of the hedge that had grown around it.

A drop oil, few spins by hand, few spins on the starter, plugs in and it fired up.

The front brakes all seem ok, not seized but a bit sticky, he reckons a good clean up and they'll be fine. I think he's on with the rear brakes now and i have a list of bits required to check if have them when i get home.

He's been hard at work again.

The electrical lighting gremlins have been sorted, just bad earths.

All brakes are now inspected and in the interest of safety he's going to do discs, pads, shoes and drain and refill he brake fluid.

I have a list of parts / consumable to take over on Saterday. All gear fluids will be changed, brake fluid and oil and filters for a good service.

Further work.

I took some bits and pieces over. Gave my Dad a hand to bleed the brakes.

Oil & filter, air filter done. Transmission oils done.

235/75 KL71s fitted.

CB fitted.

He said he's gonna txt some pics over later. We are taking both of them to Pea Farm for pay n play tomorrow.
