clutch cable sizes

well it def looks like the input shaft/pilot bearing is the cause just wondered if anyone knew where I could get a replacement cheers guys

http://www.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/diy/16-tr ... build-tips has all the info you could need but no bearing numbers. Has info for bearings from Lowrange Offroad though so you may be able to cross refrence that.

you know where to probably get bearings but! if not try www.bearingboys.com they seam to be very good! just dont go for the cheap option otherwise you land up paying twice!

Mine sounds just like you describe. I also thought it was the clutch release bearing until I fitted a new one and it didn't help. I left mine as it is as I also found the input shaft worn in the pilot bearing.
It's been running like this for at least 5 years :oops: . I use it as my daily drive so didn't/don't fancy pulling it apart. I also believe the noise to be the input shaft bearing. Strange why mine sounds fine when moving though , just noisy in neutral.

I think its more noisy in neutral as it can move around more with less torque on the shaft.

Mine had been doing it for years but once I had the box out and it sat about while I rebuilt the truck the bearing must have dried out and was a lot louder when I put it all back together.

Thought it might improve once it got oil moving round the box but no joy. 25 miles later..... Crunch!!
