I may have a trailer for sale,I will know in the next day or two if it is surplus to requirements.I built it myself to transport my sj over to Bulgaria, but the sj may well now be going on the back of a truck, if so the trailer is not required.
Yes it started life as a 2 wheel 1300 kgs caravan chassis, but it has been very heavily modified and strengthened. it has a second axle rated at 900 kgs (so should be good for 1800kgs) and has a fully welded 2"x1" frame fully welded to the chassis, which could double up as a very large baggage trailer, as it has sections built into the frame to take upright posts. It was made for the dimensions of my sj413 , so unless you have very wide wheels it should go on.
As an ex engineer I always over engineer everything I do so it is strong, the brakes all work, the only issue is I have never got around to buy or making mudguards for it, but thats a minor issue. I live in North London but I will be away after 20th, but if you are interested give me a pm and we can talk about price.
