I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but you did notice the missus never took her shoes off before climbing on the bonnet.

Me too. I had considered putting security nuts and bolts on the bull bar too because that would be easy to nick.
Who would steal an SJ bull bar? The only person who would want it would be an SJ owner and 3 out of 4 owners take them off because they get in the way, it's only the odd owner who prefers looks over practicality that would have them!

I heard a rumour that in next weeks POTM jay will be entering a photo that was 'too rude for Facebook' involving his mrs & his zook ( and apparently she took more than her shoes off for that photo!) I've got the feeling he will be getting my vote!

To be honest every vehicle I've been in with those wind deflectors fitted I've barely noticed the difference, if its a really hot day you'll have the windows all the way down anyway, why not just take the rear door off for some more air flow as well
and if you do ever take your SJ Offroad I'm sure a branch would remove and break them before too long

My mate has wind deflectors on his hard top... they are the fit in type rather than stick on, but they fit perfectly! Don't rattle around or anything like that... the only downside is that they are a bit of an arse to fit and remove because they are so tight in there!
I partially agree with scottie, but also not...
They are completely pointless UNLESS you smoke! ... and its raining

nope don't smoke lol, and when I say leave the window open a bit I mean when I'm not in the car.. so when I'm out camping I can leav the zuk windows open a little and if it happens to rain the wind deflectors will stop the rain..

Scrap. Undo four bolts and you've got a hefty piece of metal.
Bull bars aren't all bad. I'd like to point out that mine has saved me serious body damage on two occasions when I went off-road, if a pensioner's front garden counts as off-roading.

I've thought about putting a samurai front bumper on mine as it wider so it should go well with the wide arches but they are not cheap for one in good condition, and seem hard to find aswel, the main thing with the bull at is if some tw*t cuts me up like it has happened countless time in the last two months then they will come off worse, and my bull bar will protect the zuk if they cut me up too close..
with the idiots that are on the road I feel a bit safer with the bullbar..
