New tools sorted got a decent socket set now and a 2 ton jack today how did you put your number plate on rivet ?? Angle grinder next got to save some money to flip some more cars keep the cash coming in.

Mine is purely siliconed on, but absolutely covered before sticking it down. Either get some self tappers, or just drill all the way through and bolt it on.

you can either use the double sided tape or drill a couple of holes and use some self tappers mate. id me more inclined with self tappers, as when that double sided tape gets covered in mud etc its not the strongest

I got a sticker and stuck it on a strip of magnet, as soon as I go offroading I chuck I in the back, and when the old bill didn't like it under my wipers last month I whipped it off and chucked it on the front, mot guy said its fine under wipers so mines back up there

He's an asshole then! doesn't say anything in the MOT book about 'where' on the front it needs to be. Reason for rejection
1. A registration plate;
a. missing
b. so insecure that it is likely to fall off
c. letter or figure missing or incomplete
d. Faded, dirty, deteriorated or obscured, (for example by a towbar so that it is likely to be misread or is not easily legible to a person standing approximately 20 metres to the front/rear of the vehicle.
