i could only get the thing to work if i put the key to the ign and going through the actual action you would do if you had a full key.
the sensor is in the black plastic ring around the key hole. maybe you could fix it in the hole of the ring, but you would need to take the ring off of the steering lock first.

Well i just spoke to a local bloke who has coded me a key properly..still expensive..£150 for the two keys..but
regarding doing that...keeping the Immobiliser key always near the receiver...he says it is not a good idea..not from a theft point of view..but he has know it happen in the past when if the key is kept too close to the receiver constantly..the ECU or some such other piece of electronic bullshit trickery shits itself after a few months..so best not too

A main dealer should know that the car can be started using the Suzuki scan tool, I guess its easier for them to send a truck than to send a mechanic out to start it.
