:) anyways back to the thread has anyone else experianced any other over heating problems after the gauge has been changed??

Only issue i had was a misatched temp gauge and sender.

Slightly clogged rad too.

Is it warming up properly and pumping water round? Its not air locked or got a blockage in the system?

Mine qith 1.5td in overheats like no tomorro turned out the rad was full with sand with a 300tdi rad av got anuva 300tdi rad if u want one

the pump works fine, does the 300tdi fit in? i was told to use the 200tdi rad. ive flushed the rad a few times and all my hoses no air locks. im presuming its cooling down but cannot tell until my digital gauge gets here.

300tdi rad is same size as 200 so its fine just the 300 has both houses on one side 200 has one on each side

sorry took me so long to get back to you all . ive fitted the digital temperature gauge and its running stood still around 75-80. took it offroad few days ago before i fitted it and coped with 2 hour session. really impressed with it definatly worth the conversion. does anyone know what temperatures i should be hitting on road and off road???

Should run between 75 lower and 100 upper maximum optimum is usually 85/90'c pal.

so ive had it out a few times and yeah been overheating up to 100 degrees. ive wiped the rad out and bought a 200tdi. has anyone a picture of this rad inside the sj as i dont know where to put my turbo cooler? cheers

my 1.6 16v engine always sticks between 70 and 80.... never had any overheating issues and I'm still running the standard 1.3 rad!
