DIY winch bumper, ideas? Designs?

I remeber seeing a bumper built on here that seemed to be quite nice, maybe it was mike's truck. just have a look through e few people's build threads

Mike's bumper is like my one with the top chopped off...

If you can get 100x100 box section and just shape the ends of it by cutting some out and leaving a "flap" to bend and weld into place to shape the ends?

I've ordered 100mm x 50mm box, going to bend the ends back and weld it back together ten going to make some plate to fill the gap at the top and some plate to do the angled bit at the bott and then shape the bottom corners, will all make sense when I get on my laptop and I'll uploa the design I'm going for...

yep i know someone made on on here somewhere but i have no idea either lol

i remember seing somone built one into the chassis and they has "works" written on it with a marker pen lol thats all i remember haha

I've looked through a fair few recent builds and can't find a thing.

Maybe it was on the Facebook group or posted in the bar or gallery.

Going to make one like this for mine though, I like simple tube bumpers.

Yeah scottie your old one looked cool you should have kept it on there!

I sold it to someone who then decided to cut it up to use parts of it to make another bumper nowhere near as nice think he only actually used the chassi smounts, would have been easier to make them from scratch
