Ooooh mike don't say that, I'm getting more and more tempted to convert mine back to injection

An SJ413 engine would give a 40% power increase, a Jimny engine would give a 78% power increase and a Swift GTi engine would give a 122% power increase. All those options are also considerably lighter than the 410 engine.twiss wrote: theres not much point in just putting in a 1.3 as the power gains won't be that great... 410 engine really are great!!!
Have to be careful with stats though, I put a 413 engine into my 410, but with the old 410 transfer box and original 195 tyres means that any engine power advantage is lost through the ratios. Still have the same top speed, even with the 5th gear, so that 40% power increase hasnt made any difference.Rhinoman wrote:An SJ413 engine would give a 40% power increase, a Jimny engine would give a 78% power increase and a Swift GTi engine would give a 122% power increase. You've only done half a job, I was only too pleased to ditch my old 410 engine.timwilks13 wrote: Have to be careful with stats though, I put a 413 engine into my 410, but with the old 410 transfer box and original 195 tyres means that any engine power advantage is lost through the ratios. ill notice the difference when i get bigger tyres fitted im sure, but just as a straight swap for more power the 413 into a 410 is pointless imo.Rhinoman wrote:You've only done half a job, I was only too pleased to ditch my old 410 engine.timwilks13 wrote: Have to be careful with stats though, I put a 413 engine into my 410, but with the old 410 transfer box and original 195 tyres means that any engine power advantage is lost through the ratios.
