Could proverlu use easy start or is this a bad idea haha

Old fairy liquid bottle. Just pour a small amount of fuel in it then use it to squirt the fuel into the carb.

Iv tried pouring petrol down the carb and the bloody thing still won't start

Yes it's starting to you can hear it trying but just won't fire

Have you had all the plugs out for a clean or fitted new?
Is it sparking on all 4 cylinders?
How's the compression?

All the spark plugs are new I had a mate of mine come round today and he said the compression could be to low for it to actually work so I'm going to get a compression tester tomorrow hopefully and have a look so it could be new rings for the old girl

Compression test it, could be something off. Rings or badly blown gaskets.
