Is the carb making contact with the servo?

Where did you get your throttle linkage plates? I've just sent my manifold off to Richard aswell. Hopefully I'll clear my servo.
No there is no actual contact with servo. Just very close and I was proposing to use a circular air cleaner that will clash.
Linkage plate, from memory came from Minispares.

Does the carb clear with the vacuum takeoff spacer removed? You need to remove that spacer anyway as the vacuum takeoff is on the wrong side of the butterfly with that fitted.
As per Nigel heads write up, linked in the SU carb thread the dizzy vacuum takeoff needs to be on the air filter side of the butterfly valve.
Ok, points noted. Will investigate further. Thanks.

Inlet manifold being removed and ssent back to Rockwatt Engineering for modification.

Am still thinking about replacing the existing Spanish [Girling / Lucas] servo / master cylinder with a later Japanese one. Understand heater valve needs relocation if I do this.

Having got my head around the questions being asked.
1. The carb itself clears it is an air-cleaner fitment that will not clear.
2. I am linking the dizzy vacuum take-off to the air filter side of the butterfly as it should be.
3. The spacer with vacuum take-off is to a 52mm Smiths vacuum gauge on the dash.

Attention has moved to alternator bracket now. Am upgrading the alternator so need to ensure all 3 pulleys are on same centre-line.

Looking to relocate right hand support to the left allowing for some tolerance.
Slotted holes offer this for mounting bracket position but locating stud at front of block may need to be longer.

Am doing a "dimensioned sketch" to help sort things out.

Been very quiet as I wait for inlet manifold back from Rockwatt Engineering.
Have alternative servo/master cylinder now to fit if necessary.
