Is it easy to pop it out with 2 sockets and a vice?

There's a 12mm bolt to undo and it just pulls off! well there should be, all the ones i've seen do!

Mine is fixed to the shaft and that bolt removes it from the shaft in the truck leaving the uj on the engine bay piece.

get some heat on the outer part, then pull or smack. might be enough to get it out.

Done it now. Got fed up with it so I just shortened the flange and splined shaft at the box.

Someone tell me to strip my bonnet and get it and the front clip painted. I seem to be lacking motivation.

Apart from that all I need to do is make a seat mount for the passenger side and finish the bumper but Trotter has kidnapped my welder!

no i haven't I've just been keeping it warm for you... ps you need some more gas :tongue:

pps I predict my truck will be back together and maybe even on the road before you get yours painted!!

dan strip the bonnet and clip and get them painted :thumbup:
