Cheers Scottie for popping round last night and sorting me the last few bits I need to complete. Will get on the case tonight and stick up an updated photo as shes looking a lot more complete than the last photos.

Some random photos of a few bits I got done before going on holiday and some of getting the arches sorted today.
Made an adapter for the SU inlet
Fitted the airbox in a new location
His and hers photo
Then today got the arches done
Ruined the shed
All done painted and fitted

Went for an MOT today.
The drive there was thrilling. The 1.6 and power steering is superb!
The wait in the waiting room was rather nerve racking.
Failed on a weeping brake line and slightly over on emissions.
In other news..... the gearbox is like a cement mixer!
Got a spare box here ready for the impending doom.
So just need to tweak the carb and get a brake line made up so it will deffo be ready for suzuki day!!

The arches are made from a buried cable marker tape. Very tough but nice and flexy. The only problem is they dont take paint well and it is already starting to peel so I need to find something to colour them with.
I'm over the moon with the truck. Its been a year of hot, cold, wet, snowy, dirty work but I kind of see it as an example of what can be done with a parking space and a 8'x4' shed.
Looking forward to it actually being legal and taking it for a good cruise. Its all insured now so just need to sort that brake line and away I go!
