To tax my Samurai it is £145 or ~ €176, older cats get a tax relief if they are made before 1973 (they pay nothing) then cars between 1973-2001 (I think?) have a banding system on engine size, then after 2001 it's worked out on emissions,

In Finnland they test always, either they test that on MOT or by a garage and testresult must not be over 3 months old. I prefer going forehands to garage, if something is wrong, i don´t have to reMOT the car that way, atleast on that matter, or get a driving ban.

I won't post where I get my MOTs but my emissions results have been from the testers Fiesta for the last 3 years haha

Has anybody information about the "sub" models in Suzuki?

I have in the register paper mentioning: "SJ413-HIGH ROOF SJ50V", and the same SJ50V in the serial number.

What does the SJ50V stand for?

As far as I know:

The first two vehicle in the Jinny range that Suzuki actually produced where the LJ10 and LJ20

In Japan they were known as Jimny LJ10 and Jimny LJ20
What we call an LJ50 is actually an SJ10 in Japan
LJ80s are also called SJ20s over there
The SJ30 are the Japanese SJ models with 550cc and 660cc engine, some with turbo, some without
The SJ40 was exported as the SJ410 with the 1.0 engine
The SJ50 is a SJ413, the SJ51 is a Samurai

and I believe the V indicated that it's a hard top
