OK lets just make it clear, my english is weak for such complicated sentences
So 413 and Samuai will not fit, right? Meanwhile, I found that this model is SJ419. To make long story short I will have to count teeth anyway? Either that or swap both front and rear diffs? Uh this is slowly turning into a nightmare because I am not feeling like 20 or so year old part will do any better
I will ask around maybe somebody can rebuild it. Anyone of You guys ever did overhaul/rebuild or just straight swap????
i would like to know what previous owner did to mess it up like this
sure he was towing trains or something???

As Ladaman sugested I lift rear axle on stands today, and unfortunatelly it seems that diff is problem for sure. First, I lift left wheel and turn it, prop whas spinning acordingly. There was no play in wheel bearings and I noticed that in some angle of circle something (like brake shoe?) lightly stuck like drum is out of round. It will not stop it but it affects every turn and you can hear it like when wheel on bicycle is untrue and it hits brakepad every time it comes to that point, something is making resistance. Anyway I dont think this causes my problem so I lift other wheel to. There is no play in wheel bearing and when it is turned it spins other wheel in opposite direction. Now, I can hear clicking and knocking out of diff, it is in sync with speed of wheels are turning when i stop it and turn it other way rapidly there is a play. I am sure that there is supposed to be some play but how much - not sure. Also with both wheels up and turning propshaft was spining part of circle here and there, not all the times.... Next, I went under the car and grab propshaft where its connected to rear diff and shook it sideways - no play but when prop is turned play is obvious like something inside is loose (around flange). I will post some pictures that I made from downunder...

Yes, they will fit. They're a direct swap. But 413, samurai and 419 diffs have different ratios, DO NOT mix them - if you have a 413 diff in the front and a 419 diff in the back, the rear of your car will try to go faster than the front if you engage 4wd.
On a grippy surface, that is very likely to cause your drivetrain to break.

Ok... one more question. When I find two axles (they usually have second hand selling like that - complete axles) how can I check if they worth purchase. Can I make sure if its not broken too?

I was just looking at third propshaft orientation on mine... it is spline end facing front of vehicle = T case. On some pictures I can see it is opposite. Which is correct?

It doesn't really matter which way around you mount the propshaft.
As for buying axles, check all the brings spin nicely and don't sound rough.
Give the diff pinion a wobble and make sure there's no movement, spin it and make sure it feels smith and check for oil staining around the pinion to see if it's been leaking. If everything feels smooth, tight and is quiet I'm sure they'll be fine.

People I just came across idea how to exactly clear my doubts. Only if it is safe???
Can I take off rear propshaft and try it only on FWD for a couple of hundred meters on flat ground. This should definitely eliminate any doubts. Did anybody tried this? It shold not hurt I think?
Afterwards, I can flip propshaft also and give it a try.
