For f**k sake nothing is ever stright forward lol , got my cv today £50 from local store ,and its the wrong one i thought it looked abit small the new cv is 19 tooth and my shaft is 22 spline as is old cv do i have a samurai axel or wrong bits in it could anyone give me a idea plz on what to do as dont want to get a new cv for it to be all wrong thanks

You might have 413 shafts and CVs fitted in that case....if it's still on 410 axles anyway.


Scroll down in this thread, it lists CV info, plus will have all the info you need to work out which axles you have fitted, widths etc.

Cheer scottie so either way do i need a 413 22 tooth cv so i can order 1 , i have my axle in bits so carnt get a measurment of the wheel surface to wheel surface my diff has wrighting ingraved in it dont no if means anything but says inbetween the diff bolts 6/48 any idea , thanks

yeah easiest way is to just get a 413/samurai CV, it will fit your shaft if it's a 413 or samurai shaft that way.

if you could post a pic from the front showing the axle i might be able to tell

Anyone recommend where i would get the cv i need 22 tooth , as i returned the one i had today he said he couldnt get the one i needed as we're discontinued, i think he took the huff personally lol , theres a few on ebay but r they just shite ? Cheers guys

I have a selection of shafts and CVs you are welcome to rumage through.

Conditions are unknown but i have 4 or 6 to choose from if there are some good ones.
